Speech Pathologist
Speech Pathologist – Sarah Thackray
At Bellbird Park State Secondary College, our School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) works with students to develop essential communication and learning skills, ensuring they can fully engage with their education.
How Our SLP Supports Students:
Enhancing communication skills for success in the classroom and beyond.
Developing language skills for thinking, discussing, reading, writing, and learning.
Supporting literacy and numeracy development.
Helping students manage social interactions and build positive relationships.
Supporting Our School Community
Our Speech Language Pathologist also works closely with teachers and staff to:
Identify and address language-related barriers to learning.
Support the implementation of targeted programs to assist students.
Guide curriculum planning to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
By fostering strong communication and language skills, we empower students to reach their full potential in all aspects of their education.
