We are highly trained registered teachers with specialised tertiary studies in personal, educational and careers counselling.  We have completed further studies in psychology.

As Guidance Officers we aim to reach out to all students and support them in attaining their educational and career goals.  Our focus is on success in the learning and careers journey of all students, not just those with high support needs. We lead and coordinate a range of comprehensive student support programs with a preventative focus.  Our programs include individual career pathways guidance; socio-emotional counselling and collaboration with external agencies.

Our Guidance Officers support teaching and learning so that all students achieve academic success, and develop life skills through the acquisition of academic, career, and personal/social competencies, which will prepare them for meaningful participation in a diverse, changing world.
