Park State Secondary College’s Effort Ceremony is an
important event at the college as we are able to join together and acknowledge
the importance of hard work in the pursuit of academic growth.
The
first step a student must take to achieve an Effort award is to persist even
when their work in challenging. Secondly, they must attempt every task or
activity by themselves before asking for help. Asking for help is so important, as is
always giving the work a go before seeking assistance. Thirdly a student
wishing to receive an “Excellent” Effort grade will utilise their student
organiser and ensure they bring the correct books and equipment to each and every
lesson.
