The Bellbird Park State Secondary College Assessment Policy has been developed to ensure there is consistency, clarity and equity in relation to assessment for students and teachers; they should feel secure in the knowledge that every student in each year level can access equitable and comparable levels of support. The policy assists students and parents understand the academic requirements of students as they move through their schooling in line with the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) Guidelines.

Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA) have replaced Special Consideration at the College. If your student has experienced personal injury, illness, grief, loss or trauma or have a diagnosed disability which may be a barrier to your performance in assessment you may be eligible for an AARA.  Information regarding eligibility for an AARA is contained in our College Assessment Policy.

Students at Bellbird Park are expected to reference all material according to the APA Referencing Guide below.
