Applications are now open for 2025 Year 10 Academic Excellence Program- Bellbird Scholars Program. This program is targeted towards students who will be transitioning into Year 10 2025, who have a history of achieving high academic standards and are passionate about further broadening and developing their knowledge and skills in preparation for their transition into a Year 11 and 12 Academic Program of Learning and Year 13 direct entry to university. Students in the program will be placed in a speciality Pathways Class with an assigned academic coach to lead them through a program of learning to equip each student with the work readiness, leadership and academic skills tailormade to the needs of tertiary bound students. Applications are due to the Administration Office by Friday 25 October.
Application Process
- Places within this program are very competitive.
- Students are required to complete the application form (
Scholars Application 2024.pdf) including the two response questions: 1. Career Question: At this point in time please outline what you would like to do for a career and why? 2. Application Response: Outline why you believe you should be a part of this program.
- A panel of staff including the Deputy Principal for Senior Schooling and Executive Principal Mr Michael West will be assessing applications.
- If you would like your student to participate in this program please complete the application attached and return to the Administration Office by Friday 18 August 2023. Students selected in this program will receive tailored support with their SSS Plan for Year 10 Subject Selection for 2024 and SET Plan for 2025.
